Afro’nb Nigerian artist Oga’Silachi releases his new visual “Leona” today directed by the Roarin’ Lion. Oga’Silachi brings a fusion of Afrobeats and R&B music to the visual stage with a familiar love story that we can all relate to. Love can be discovered when we least expect it and Silachi shows that with “Leona”.
For those not familiar with Oga’Silachi (a.k.a Uwaoma-Silachi Nwogwugwu), he’s a Nigerian singer/songwriter & producer from NY. His style of music isAfro’nb, a mixture of Afrobeats and American R&B. Oga Silachi draws his influences from many artists that include American R&B group Boyz2Men, All4One, and the Temptations as well as solo artists Drake, Duncan Mighty, Flavour Nabania, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, and The Dream.
Oga’Silachi is half of an artist collective called Nuzzcrew, whose aim and motive is to create and promote a universal sound that all people, regardless of the culture or race may find agreeable.
