Ironic how the sky was a landscape of beauty,
the moon; our night watch,
the stars smiled at us
as we laid naked and guilty.
Sweat snakes departed,
all thanks to the open windows
that allowed the nosy wind
to rush in with fresh air
my body a garden,
butterflies in my tummy,
what a feeling to be cuddled,
what a feeling having a pint of a wine labelled X.O
Priceless night, if the world had ended,
we would be nowhere near heaven’s gate
because we did got our garments
covered with some lovely stains.
