Evaezi starts the year with ‘My Superman’ and Ife tries to find out what she’s up to, whenever she seems to be out of the music scene. She makes it known that she acts, composes movie-soundtracks, teaches but has decided to give more attention to music this year. She got quite excited when Rexx asked about the inspiration for the song, ‘My Superman’ and if she were a shade lighter, a blush would have shone through. The song pays tribute to all men especially a man ‘whose love and devotion for his woman makes him perfect’. Evaezi shared her man-crush with Rexx and Ife on “The Drop Spot.

The fun continues on Metro 97.7fm as Koker joins in soon after. Meanwhile, did you know that Koker is quite punctual? Well, he got into the building an hour before the show! Koker was one of the nominees as ‘Rookie of the year’ at the last Headies and the winner of #TheDropSpot2015BestNewAct . He’s a Chocolate city signee that chose to ‘Do something’ for himself in 2015 and dropped ‘kaabo’ just as the year was rounding off. He lets us into the fact that he is dropping a single with a video soon. Rexx asks about the craziest rumour that Koker has heard about himself and he says, ‘that I am a replacement for Brymo’. While talking about criticisms from fans, he touched on the fact that those that tell you to ‘do good music’ won’t buy the good music’ and artistes have bills to pay. Rexx and Ife got him to drop a line from his forthcoming single.

The excitement goes a notch higher when Ksolo talks about his new song and Ife states her initial dislike for it at the first listen. He responded by saying, ‘that was very bad. A day to my birthday’. Ksolo released ‘Everyday’ featuring Joel on his birthday but sent it to Ife a day before so she could listen and release as an exclusive on the birthday. He talked about concentrating on music business beyond singing in 2016 . He revealed the fact he has signed an artiste called Teajazz who has stuff music fans should look forward to.
