Finishing touches are being made to the evergreen Jabi Lake Park located within the Jabi District of the capital city, Abuja, which will be the location for this year’s edition of the NPU Children Christmas Carnival; amazing attractions including boat-rides, horse-riding, Santa Claus and more are in store for children and families attending the event.
The event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, the 14th of December and will kick off by 12 noon; best of all, the event is FREE for all to attend, courtesy of Ne Plus Ultra Entertainment and Smile Women & Child Foundation, with sponsorship from Cadbury, Unilever, graphixED, Indomie Noodles, GlaxoSmithKline and Zudors Foundation amongst others.
Other attractions include bouncing castles, music, comedy, games, an interactive health and hygiene session, as well as mouth-watering refreshments; kids should expect to win prizes from games while there will be souvenirs for everyone! Event director and Ne Plus Ultra Entertainment C.E.O, Maryam Dunji said earlier this week that: “the event is strongly in line with one of the company’s goals, which is to create a healthier, happier and sound society”.
While the event is FREE, tokens are encouraged from attendees while the general public and well-meaning citizens are encouraged to come to the venue to donate items including books, clothing and food items in favour of orphanages located within Abuja.
