Bare Clothing , a uk based nigerian brand that was established February 2012 is co-owned by 18 year old twins FOLASAYO and FOLAJOMI KASSIM! Of HMIM.Wanting to make a name for themselves before their 18th birthday,they set up to build a very unique clothing brand december 2011,with different obstacles along the way it finally kicked February 2012 just 2 months to their birthday.
On Unveiling their first and still ongoing design SHAKARA ON POINT which was designed by Enoch Kolo of trybe! The company got major hype for a very young company,and just after a month they had reputable celebrities like 2face,Kentro Flo,Bigmaxx,abdul,annie macaulay wearing it,which further increased the hype.
The young ladies definitely weren’t stopping,as they surprised their customers the next batch introducing,a line of very unique tops,gowns that no other company offered,especially not at that great price,and also polos,shirts,varsity jackets and lots more.
They embarking on a charity project A STEP TO CHANGE , where 1£/258naira on any product over 20£, and 50p/129naira on any other product would be given to charity organisations and orphanages in nigeria,with sale of every wear a change is made
In an interview they said “What we offer is so unique and I see the company like getting real big and when I mean big I mean having stores over the world and companies everywhere and I know its possible!its just really different and even though clothing companies are getting random now but I mean we still stay very very different and classy yet cheap!”
We make everything and anything but we don’t just see a trend and join in the production NO! We create a trend and watch people join, we have tees,different styles of tops, gowns, varsity jackets, polos, shirts, hoodies, with different things coming up soon! But all we do is not your everyday thing,you can’t get anywhere else”
