After the success of his hit single and video “Calabar Loni Shan”, XP is back with an official single titled “Omo Yen” and freestyle he calls “Jara e”.
Omo Yen
This track is a typical club record for the dance floor, “Omo yen” which means “That girl” talks about the beauty of a girl. He goes on to brag about how he will take her places her man can’t, and how he will take care of her, just to have her.
The catchy and melodious hook, asides the rhythmic and high tempo beat, makes it one to rock to on the dance floor.
There is also the afro beat flavour to the beat, produced by Antras which also gives the song a melodious ending.

Jara e
XP decided to go in on Drake’s “Started from the bottom” instrumental; the freestyle shows XP’s lyrical prowess and freestyle abilities as an Emcee.
XP reminds us that he’s not a newbie in the game, as he stakes his claim as a force to be reckoned with in the Nigerian rap scene, he talks about his readiness to take the bull (industry) by the horn, and has a word for his haters and those who see to underestimate his potentials.
His laid back but yet lethal flow is quite evident on this freestyle. He gives shout outs to his clique (Reminisce, Olamide, Seriki and Lord of Ajasa) on the freestyle.
