Not That Tayo , Rapper from Lagos Nigeria, who used to go by the name Tmax C9, released his debut mixtape ‘Maximus’ in 2013, and followed up with Maximus II a few years later. He is set to release Maximus III very soon, and this song titled ‘Grim Reaper’ is one track of the upcoming Mixtape. Grim reaper has Tayo rapping on a slow classic hip hop instrumental, about his goals and aspirations, and the dangers the grim reaper poses to them, as well as his determination to avoid encountering him(grim reaper) at all costs. He also infuses some samples from the popular series Game of thrones, to bring his stories to life.
