Born Idowu Samson Oluwadamilare, MVP is the third of three male children. This third year student of the University of Lagos is a Rapper, writer and music enthusiast.
MVP burst unto the rap music scene when he won the Snap Tv’s Campus Discovery in his first year in Unilag. He became a regular feature on Laylow production’s raptitude as a result.
As a member of a 3 man crew that included Mavin‘s Reekado Banks and Jaybreeze, he won the BlackBerry® first Campus Supercrew competition in Lagos. His musical journey has included several blockbuster cover tracks like Big Sean‘s Clique and Tyga‘sRack City that featured YBNL’s Lil’Kesh and Maphian. Their version was called “Mad City” and it quickly became a street anthem which got crazy buzz on radio. With several other works on web and many more in the works MVP is fast becoming a household name amongst music lovers.
His latest single is a brilliant brew of Creativity,passion and hope and the result is this Chart topping single Oluwa Se Aanu which means Lord Have Mercy (Produced by Mad Skillz).
