Nigeria’s U.K-based musical prodigy, Mya K has released her highly anticipated single, ‘Let Me Breath’ featuring Nigeria’s respected rap star, Vector.
The song, which was released on December 12 was produced by U.K’s rising producer, Shabach and as expected, the 11-year-old British-born steps out with a pop song laden with Vector’s familiar brand of ferocious flavoured rap.
Building on the strength of her recent achievements, Mya K is also on the verge of adding a feather to her young hat as she has also picked up a nomination at the forthcoming 2012 edition if the Nigerian Music Video Awards (NMVA) in the ‘Best Soft Rock/Alternative’ category on the strength of her song, ‘I’ll Survive.’
Her musical career began at a very early stage of her life and under the watchful eyes of her mother, Victoria Kinlock; a Nigeria based industrialist, her musical progression has since begun to unfold.
She is presently signed to First Entertainment and under MuchMusic LessTalk promotions, she has begun to carve an enviable niche for herself.
She has so far released five singles titled ‘I’ll Survive,’ ‘Superstar,’ Xmas Charity,’ ‘For Now’ and Do It Twice.’ She recorded electrifying performances on stage at the Calabar Carnival Nigeria, LTV Children Party, Factory78 Freestyle and music festivals in the United Kingdom.
