How Wizkid ended up at #1 with ‘Jaiye Jaiye’ on the #Top10NigeriaCountdown?
Wizkid climbed up the chart to knock Tekno off the chart with the Sesan-directed clip for ‘Jaiye Jaiye.’ The street anthem moves from the #4 slot to the top of the chart and the fan-favourite track ‘I Swear’ by Ice Prince who just launched his sophomore #FOZ album calls close at the #2 spot from last week #3 position.
Also, making it into the top 5 position is D’Banj with his long running and charting number, ‘Finally’; Davido with the monstrous hit ‘Skelewu’ and EME rap-poster boy, Skales with the ladies-favourite ‘Take care of you.’ It is also a good run for the ladies as Tiwa Savage is at the #6 spot with the cheeky fun and retro-styled video for ‘Eminado’ featuring Don Jazzy which has seen remarkable request from Soundcitizens. Tiwa Savage is not the only female, as EME starlet, Niyola – who provided back-up vocals for Banky W’s new single – Jasi’ debut on the chart with her ballad and Kemi Adetiba-directed gripping visual for ‘Toh Bad,’ She is definitely in for a good run.
‘Reverse, Baby oh Pull over’ is an anthem and KCee’s ‘Pullover’ sits at #7 just before Wande Coal’s party starter – ‘Rotate’ and Pucado’s buzzing ‘Imposter’ visuals at #8 and #9 respectively.
