Mayowa Alatishe a.k.a Mayorteeshay an indigene of Ogun state,born on the 23rd of February 1988 in Lagos.
He started his musical adventure at a very young age after he stumbled on his fathers collection of late Gil-Scott Heron work “The Revolution will not be Televised”.
Mayor as he is sometimes called showed his versatility when he started a dance Group called “Sold’out for Christ”. Experimenting with all genres of music from rock to rap,Hip Hop finally hit home after Legends like Tupac, Biggie, Bone-thugs and Eminem stole his Heart.
Mayor’s throwback rap style reminds us of Nas in the Old days,He weaves rap bars just as he designs and codes programs in his professional life.He is a freelance programmer with a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Lagos.
He is currently workin on his highly anticipated mixtape called “The Maymix” which is set to drop anytime soon.The mixtape’s philosophy is centered on Mayor’s indepth knowledge of music,using old instrumentals and creating his own version,his own song,his own music.
Now Mayor drops two singles off the mixtape “Mayor’s Like”(sampling Nas Is Like) and “Look at me now” (sampling Chris Brown) featuring Label mate Sammy and Knighthouse’s Phenom. Other artistes billed to feature on the mixtape are Kel, Nyore, Seriki, Tupengo and Others.
Mayorteeshay is presently signed to The Bit Bender Entertainment.

Phenom:delivery good and calm,composure on the beat thumbs up,but I think the “stevie wonder” line is played out.but its ok.
