In His Image…the 5 man Vocal Bundle are back with a bang.. The vocal group most popular for their ability to dazzle the crowd with a rich blend of vocal harmonies, are poised to set standards with their new single “Love you dey go”, which features enigmatic singer and songwriter Djinee. Noted for their inept ability to deliver a rhythmic vocal blend of rich soulful and unique contemporary harmonies, they’ve upgraded their craft with a fusion of “naija trado” sounds, performing a style termed by the group as contemporary pop a’cappella having a fusion of R&B, spirituals, jazz, contemporary Christian music and Afro traditional music. The group has set itself on the musical plain as Nigeria’s No 1 vocal statement as regards vocal harmony. The group has performed in a series of concerts, social functions and has consistently been involved in projects with other artistes / producers and organizations. A few of such projects includes the maiden edition of MTN’s ‘Play and Go’ musical compilation of 2003 which featured various Nigerian artists such as Sunny Nneji, Yinka Davies, Ras Kimono, Fatai Rolling Dollar and a host of others. Also notable was the recording of the Nigeria-Lebanon Theme Song for charity in collaboration with the Lebanese Ladies Society in 2006. They also stunned nigeria with their acappella version of The National Anthem, as well as the Mtn Jingle “Jolly good fellow” in 2011. They also featured on kore’s track – Halleluyah, and are coming on a host of other tracks with Nigeria’s greatest artistes.
Aside performances at various Christian programs and denominations, the group has also performed at series of notable events such as:
The group is currently working on its second album which will feature artistes such as kore, Djinee, Waje and a host of others.
