Pain I caused her,
My fat self coiled up in her
With love she bore it
A weight I was…
Without complaint she nursed me,
Until this world received me.
She has loved me jealously.
Cared for me with every breath
No Love can compare
Except the Most High’s.
He has given her strength to bear
Many a time,
I strayed.
Time and again she prayed
Love oozing out her,
I beheld the Master in her.
She is my Mother,
My Precious gift from God.
Finding solace in her bosom,
I run always To her
Bruised and trampled
I called for her.
She hears my cry
My pain she soothes away.
My tears become her fears.
She knows what to say
How to mend me when I’m broken
This rare gem is mine.
I call her MOM
And she calls me SON.
